Although some people prefer the less-ambiguous term body mass, the term body weight is overwhelmingly used in daily English speech and in biological and medical science contexts to describe the mass of an organism's body. Body weight is measured in kilograms throughout the world, although in some countries people more often measure and describe body weight in pounds (e.g. United States and sometimes Canada) or stones and pounds (e.g. among people in the United Kingdom) and thus may not be well acquainted with measurement in kilograms. Most hospitals, even in the United States, now use kilograms for calculations, but use kilograms and pounds together for other purposes. (1 kg is approximately 2.2 lb; 1 stone (14 lb) is approximately 6.4 kg.)

What is the best way to determine your ideal body weight without an specialized tools?
Q. I am well aware of the many BMI calculators but I was wondering if there were any other ways of determining your ideal body weight? I just don't feel like the BMI calculators are accurate as they don't account for many factors.

A. The best way to determine your ideal body weight is to look in the mirror. If you like what you see, then your weight is ok. If you don't, then do what you need to do to change it.

A. you true weight would be in the morning after urinating and if possible passing a motion. You can put on up to 4lbs ( there are always the exception to the rules) depending how much water your drinking, salt intake, food intake also if your a woman what time of the month it is and how much excersise you have done for the day.
