A. Yes, you can substitute, but might I suggest you hold back slightly on the vinegar, add in a bit of fruit juice like apple juice, and maybe a bit of cinnamon?

A. Apple cider vinegar will change the flavor. If you only have white and apple, I'd use white if it only calls for a little vinegar; it shouldn't make a big difference. If it's a lot, you might try doing half white and half apple, but it still might alter the taste.

A. I am from North Carolina and you need apple cider vinegar for barbecue. And when you pull the pork don't pull it into long shreds if you want authentic Carolina bbq. Pulling it simply means pulling the meat from the bone and then it is chopped. We use a wooden chopping block and a cleaver, but use what you have. Oh and to clarify-what you are calling pulled pork is what we call barbecue.

A. For a salad I would say yes. I would like to know how much vinegar is needed for your recipe. If it is a small amount, you could do it, It may affect the taste very slightly, but if that's all you have--go for it.

A. Recipes are made to be broken. They're just guidelines. You do with it what you will. I think using potato, mayo, eggs & green onions would be fine on it's own. Any type of vinegar would work. And lemon juice would be a fine substitute. You could also do some mustard. Horseradish or even tabasco would give it a little extra kick too if that's what you're looking for. Experiment! See what you like! The only thing I'd say you're missing for sure in that list is a little salt & pepper. They are a necessity in almost every recipe.

Apple cider vinegar for at home symptom treatment for Dog UTI can I substitute with regular vinegar?
Q. I just realized tonight my dog has a UTI; she started showing symptoms around 2pm. I looked online for at home symptom relief to possibly alleviate any discomfort until I can get her to the vet in the morning. A. You should use apple cider vinegar BEFORE ever considering white vinegar. The apple cider vinegar helps maintain the ph balance in your body. As white vinegar is harsher and is used more for cleaning purposes. Peace!
